(...)With her installation “SOLO”, composed of compacted earth and straw, Ana Morgadinho accepts the impossibility of the sculpture abandoning the space for which it was conceived. Like an act of faith, for the undertaking and thoroughness of the execution, the form is foreshadowing and echo. The weight, density and immobility provide stability while the earth contains histories, different geographies, the transitive and symbolic power of the energy that carries it. (...)
